Are you sick of the songs on the game of Mabinogi?
Hahnstone not good enough for you?
LIES ALL LIES HAHNSTONE IS BRILLIANT AND ALL THEIR SONGS ARE AMAZING!!
buuuttt.... if you'd like to listen to your own songs during certain moments of the game, here is a simple basic way of doing so without killing your ram space.
1. First, open up your Mabinogi directory. Its most likely in your program files folder in your C drive, unless you changed its directory.
2. Open up the mp3 folder. It should have a HUGE list of songs that are played in the game.
3. Make a copy of this folder and save it somewhere else, just in case you screw something up baaaaad. BACK UP THESE FILES!
4. Check through these songs. You can probably recognize some of them, and you'll know exactly when these songs will be played in the game.
5. Lets say that you don't like the song played when you travel in Gairech. Well, choose the song anywhere on your computer that you want to replace it with. Save this song on to the mp3 folder as "Gairech.mp3", which is the music file name for this song.
6. Get on the game and go to where that music you just replaced my come out. Its no longer the music from the game, but rather the music that you put into the mp3 folder!
IF THERE IS A PROBLEM
Replace the mp3 folder with the spare backup folder I instructed you to make in step 3. That just fixes everything. If you weren't following instructions, sucks to be you.
Example: Lets say you want to replace the dungeon lobby music with your "Crazyfrog.mp3" file. Well find out what the dungeon lobby music is. In this case, it is titled "A_Safety_Zone.mp3". Rename Crazyfrog.mp3 into A_Safety_Zone.mp3, and put it into the mp3 folder in the mabinogi directory. It will ask if you want to replace the file because there is already a file in there with the same name. Press yes. You're done.
